What data Valoranchi touches

The short version: almost nothing leaves your computer, and the little that does is listed below.

What stays on your computer

Everything the app reads from your account: inventory, skins, store, matches, rank, friends and messages. It is read from the Riot Client you already have open, displayed, and sent nowhere.

Your settings, your saved loadouts and the account switcher's sessions live in the app's data folder, on your disk. The sessions are also encrypted with DPAPI, the same mechanism Windows uses to protect saved browser passwords.

What goes out to the internet

The update check. The app asks whether a newer version exists and downloads it if so. Nothing of yours goes with that request.

A random identifier per Riot account, generated on your PC the first time. It isn't derived from anything about you and can't be reversed into who you are: it exists only so the API knows a request came from a real Valoranchi install rather than from anyone at all.

If Discord activity is on and Discord is running: your Discord user id paired with your Riot account id, so a Discord account can be resolved to the Valorant account playing on it. Your Discord display name goes with it, and the identifier of your avatar, which is what points a browser at the picture Discord already hosts. Both come from the same handshake with the Discord client on your PC that the id comes from, and they are stored so this site and the app can show which account is linked instead of a bare number. Nothing else about your Discord account is sent. Turn the pairing off in Settings and the rows are deleted, name and avatar included.

While you are in a match: the match id and the player ids of your own party, reported at agent select. That is what lets other players’ apps show your group and yours show theirs. There is no switch for it, because the groupings only exist as long as every Valoranchi client in the match reports its own. Playing solo reports a party of one, which is never shown to anybody. This live report is deleted six hours later. A permanent record of full match rosters, groupings included, is a separate thing, described under “Match history” below.

While you are in agent select or a match, if "Show when I'm in a match" is on in Settings (it is by default): the queue, the map, your agent, your rank, the size of your party and the round score, reported whenever one of them changes. That is what lets your profile say you are in a match right now and what the stream overlay draws. It is overwritten as you play, deleted when the match ends, ignored ten minutes after the app stops refreshing it, and shown to other people only while your stats are public.

Every match you finish, whether or not it’s competitive, reported in full: not only your own line but the whole ten-player lobby, opponents included. For each player, their Riot ID, agent, kills, deaths and assists, the rank they finished on, and Riot’s own id for the party they were in. Unlike everything above, this doesn’t expire and has no switch. See “Match history” below for the honest version of that sentence.

What you write on the feedback page, if you write anything: the message, the kind you chose, the contact you optionally left, and your Discord id if you happened to be signed in. Your address is not stored; a keyed hash of it is kept only to cap how many messages one address can send per hour. It is read by a person and never shown anywhere public.

Match history

Where everyone in the match was, at every moment Riot records one: each kill, each plant and each defuse, with the direction each player faced. This is the lobby record Riot itself keeps for every player in every match, and it covers the other nine players as well as you, whether or not they use Valoranchi. It is kept with the match, forever like the rest of it, and shown only on the match map of a profile that is public or being viewed by its owner.

Because every player’s party id is kept, on every match, and kept forever, Valoranchi does hold a permanent record of who plays with whom. The six-hour party sharing above deliberately does not; this does. It is the most sensitive thing on this page, which is why it is stated plainly rather than buried: it is not inferred or guessed, it is Riot’s own grouping, written down and kept.

The names stored are the ones Riot’s own service resolves once a match is over, which it returns for everyone regardless of the in-match “hide my name” setting, the same way the end-of-game screen shows them. In the live app that setting is still honoured: a hidden player shows no name while the match is on. It is only the finished match, where Riot itself reveals the name, that records it.

Party sharing, above, also has no switch, but it expires in six hours. Match history doesn't expire at all: once a match is reported, it stays for as long as Valoranchi's database exists. That's a real difference in degree from everything else on this page, and it deserves saying plainly rather than being folded into a bullet next to the six-hour ones.

There’s no button for this yet. If you want your match history deleted, write to legal@valoranchi.app and ask. This holds whether the data is here because you use Valoranchi or only because someone you played with or against does: either way it is removed by hand, until there’s a proper control for it in the app. Your Discord pairing is a separate, existing switch and is unaffected either way.

Whether someone else can trigger a lookup through Discord, by running /stats with your account chosen or by right-clicking you, is public by default, the same posture Tracker uses; see the bot page for how the two commands work. Turning it private is a toggle in Valoranchi's own Settings, not here, and it only changes who may ask: the retention above doesn't change either way, and your own /stats always works for you regardless of the setting.

Loadouts

Once a match starts, Valoranchi asks Riot what everyone in it is carrying, and Riot answers with all twelve loadouts at once. That is one request per match. What comes back is uploaded so the match can be looked at again later, from the app and from a player's page on this site.

So a match you play with a Valoranchi user in it puts your skins, your charms, your expressions and the card, the title and the level border you had equipped on this server, whether or not you use the app. That deserves saying plainly. Two things make it a smaller thing than it sounds: all of it was already on screen for the other nine people in that match, and all of it is cosmetics. What is stored is item identifiers and your player id, never your name, so a player in incognito stays that way.

Nothing about how you played goes with it. Not your agent, not your score, not the map, not your rank. Those live in match history and follow its own visibility setting; the loadout does not, because what you own says nothing about you and how you play does.

A weapon you have never bought a skin for is not stored at all. Only what you actually chose is kept.

A match's loadouts are kept for ninety days and then deleted. The deletion takes the whole match at once, all twelve players together, so a match you can still open always shows the full lobby, and one that is past the window says so plainly instead of showing half of one.

One thing deliberately outlives that window: the most recent loadout each player was seen carrying, kept as a single entry with the match it came from and the date it was seen. That is what a player's page shows, and it never expires. Everything older goes with its match.

There is no button for this yet either. Write to legal@valoranchi.app and it will be deleted by hand, the same as match history.

What is never asked for

Your Riot password. The app has no screen that asks for it and no code that reads it. Signing in always happens in the Riot Client.

Your email, your ID, your payment method or any billing detail.

Discord

Discord activity (showing what you're playing) talks to the Discord app installed on your PC, locally. What Discord does with it is governed by your own privacy settings there.

The pairing between your Discord account and your Valorant account is made by the app, which is the only thing that sees both at once. It reports your Discord id, your display name and your avatar identifier, and nothing else. All three come from the handshake the Discord client on your PC already answers, so the app never asks Discord for anything about you and there is no extra permission for you to grant.

Deleting your data

Turn off the Discord pairing in Settings and no Discord row of yours remains on the server side. The match groupings work differently: there is no switch and nothing to delete by hand, since they expire on their own six hours after the match.

Uninstalling deliberately leaves your settings and loadouts on your disk, so reinstalling doesn't lose your saved accounts. They can be deleted by hand from the application's data folder.

Match history has no delete button yet. See "Match history" above for how to ask for it by hand.

Loadouts expire too, on a much longer clock than the match groupings. A match's loadouts go after ninety days, a whole match at a time. The single most recent sighting of each player is the exception and stays until somebody asks for it to be removed by hand.
